What Is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® gives you the beautiful smile you've always wanted. Instead of using traditional wires and brackets, Invisalign® will straighten your teeth by using a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners. Dr. Martin is an Invisalign® Certified Orthodontist in the Alcoa and Knoxville area.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

Dr. Martin uses the latest 3D computer imaging technology to create a set of clear plastic aligners for each Invisalign® patient. As you replace each aligner with the next in a series, your teeth will move into position, little by little, week by week, until they have straightened into the position that Dr. Martin has prescribed.

As you can see in the photo to your left, the Invisalign® aligners are significantly less noticeable than traditional metal braces.

What Are The Advantages?

The 2 main advantages of Invisalign® are:

1. The aligners are invisible.
2. The aligners are removable.

Because of these advantages, straightening your teeth in this way is virtually unnoticeable. Also, because the aligners are removable, patients can eat, drink, brush, and floss normally while using the Invisalign® system.

Call one of Dr. Martin’s offices in Alcoa or Knoxville to find out if Invisalign would work for you.
